Dear Sir,
Subject: Defective S* Edge Mobile complaint
I bought Samsung S* Edge Handset on **/**/****, IMEI No-*************** .From Day* ,I have discovered that the mobile is having many problems like Contacts auto merge with other, poor battery backup, Selfie Camera Problem. Within warranty period i visited thrice to service center and requested to change my mobile and mailed to Ceo helpdesk also for my mobile replacement but issue was not solved(screenshot attached).
On October * my mobile suddenly stopped working and when i visited service center they said there is moisture in it and motherboard and display both need to be changed for Rs **,***. I mailed to Ceo helpdesk also that my mobile is water resistant then why it got dead and again i requested them to replace mobile but they denied(screenshot attached). I am a loyal customer of samsung and using many expensive handset and other electronic items since * years.
I checked online and found my mobile is water resistant and it can survive being submerged in *.* metres of water for a maximum of ** minutes but my mobile never came to such big volume of water then why it stopped working?Reference links (http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/skp/faq/******* / http://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS********/ / http://www.samsung.com/in/smartphones/galaxy-s*/hardware/).

The Consumer Rights Act makes it an implied term of the contract that goods should be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. A consumer having possession of a product which is defective can seek recompense from a jurisdictional Consumer Forum. This forum would need the manufacturer to come over the defect, give a replacement product, and refund the consumer's money or should pay compensation for the defect cause loss or any injury to the consumer. .
I have lodged complaint to National Consumer Helpline with complaint no ****** and its a request to Samsung to provide me a new handset and compensation for business loss due to mobile data lost . I got assurance also from Government Consumer Helpline http://consumerhelpline.gov.in that i have to send email again and if Samsung will not replace my mobile then strict legal action will be taken against Samsung.
