I purchased HP Spectre x*** laptop in June **** from HP online store for *,**,***rs. From *th month I started facing slow performance and lags. I contacted the customer support on March. They made me perform a loop of tests like F** repairs, Boot test, SSD test and finally they ended up making me reset the PC, change the OS for multiple times. Everytime I contacted HP customer support I had to explain everything over and over again. I asked them to assign a technician but they refused saying that I(customer) need to perform all these tests again and only if the tests fail, they will assign a technician (even when the product is under warranty). After a long gap they diagnosed that it must be a hardware issue. They again made me do all the tests saying its the procedure to assign a technician. I was so polite and patient with them. They took almost ** days to assign a technician. There were no followups from their side about the technician's visit. I had to call and check about the status. The technician who visited diagnosed that it was a motherboard failure. After * days of his visit he replaced the old motherboard with a different motherboard on March **th, ****. Immediately after the motherboard replacement I started facing plenty issues (speaker failure, OS crash, heating issues, noisy fan, track pad issues) than before. I again contacted the HP Customer support. They again made me perform all those tests and then only assigned a technician. But the technician visited and diagonised that it was a speaker failure this time. Now even after technician's visit still these many issues are unresolved. I have tried to contact HP Customer Support several times seeking help and I have also tried to contact them via email, twitter. But they never gave any proper response. I also sent a hand written letter via registered post(as instructed by the Consumer Affairs Helpline team) to HP Head Office in Karnataka. But they returned the letter back to my address. I am facing so much of stress and depression in studies and at work because of HP. I want to file case against HP for selling me this defective product. I need a full refund of this defective product(Rs.*,**,***/-) and the compensation amount for putting me in mental stress and depression in past * months.
