I am filing a complaint against Sanfe (Redroomtechnology Pvt Ltd) for unfair trade practices, misleading communication, and denying a standard payment reversal.
On May *th, I placed an order with the company on their website and paid via UPI. Despite their ** hour shipping policy, my order was delayed (and still remains unshipped). After calling their customer care, an automated bot directed me to their email. I sent a detailed email on May *th and the brand explicitly confirmed to me via email that my order totaling ₹**** was "unshipped" and recorded my cancellation request.
However, instead of issuing a refund to my bank account, they attempted to force a "Sanfe Wallet" store credit, which directly violates the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, ****.
After I flatly rejected their store credit and demanded a refund to my original UPI source, they stopped responding. I proceeded to register a formal grievance with the National Consumer Helpline (NCH) and initiated a banking chargeback.
Today, on May **th, the brand suddenly sent a contradictory email claiming the order "has already been shipped" in a transparent, bad-faith attempt to retroactively block my cancellation and financial refund. Furthermore, their listed customer helpline number is completely invalid and disconnected, cutting off all avenues for human grievance redressal and locking users into an automated chat loop.
I demand that Sanfe immediately process a full refund back to my original UPI payment source, not a store wallet. I will absolutely refuse delivery if a package arrives.
