Jet Airways India, Goibibo - Damages due to flight cancellation

We had our return flight from Paris to Mumbai via Amsterdam on **-April-**** by Jet Airways. We had booked our tickets well in advance through Goibibo. On **-April JetAirways declared the cancellation of all their flight until further notice. This impacted our return flight from Amsterdam to Mumbai. We contacted Jet Airways and Goibibo for the alternate solution but none of those was able to provide us with any solution but asked to book another ticket with other airlines. Hence, we had to buy new tickets at the very last moment costing us heavily and disturbing our journey schedule. Neither Jet Airways nor Goibibo helped us or trying to compensate for the cancellation. Can you please advise how can we register a claim for compensation for the price we had to pay and troubles we had to go through. Thanks in advance.
