Nisarg Tuli filed complaint against Tata Cliq on Aug 23, 2019
I had ordered an LG TV **UM** from Tata Cliq on *th August. This was delivered to me on **th August and the screen is completely broken. I raised a complaint with Tata Cliq regarding the same but they denied a replacement/refund stating that I was not supposed to open the TV. According to them, there should have been a technician present and he should have opened the TV. They are not taking any further requests. On the same call, I was told by the customer service executive to send an email to csmanagement@tatacliq.com and they will look at it. So my problem with Tata Cliq is this. This is my product for which I have pre-paid in full. The only reason they are denying replacement is I opened my own product which does not make any sense to me. They say this was communicated to me over email, which I never read. I am sure they did not ship the damaged product. It was damaged in transit. Another question that I have is why was such an expensive product not insured for shipping. And if it was, why can't they give my money back? Tata Cliq should take full responsibility for the damages and reimbursement of the money I paid should happen in full and at the earliest.
