Vilas Gawde filed complaint against Myntra on Jan 23, 2021
Had ordered a United Colors of Benetton t-shirt Olive Green & Yellow Printed alongwith other * products, which were delivered at my residence on **-Dec-** and later, being Christmas weekend had traveled out of town. Hence opened the product only after returning back on **-Dec-**, while checking the product quality before trying could observe very minute holes near the right arm and at left bottom of the United Benetton referred above. The holes are very minute which were noticeable only when observed closely, being a loyal and responsible shopper at Myntra for a very long time now, had raised a returned request on **-Dec-** under damage product condition.
Myntra has been rejecting the return request stating the below reasons.
- The product passed a stringent quality check before being packed.
- The product was delivered to you in sealed tamper-proof packet.
- There is no other point in the journey before reaches you where it can be repacked.
- No tampering to the package was reported.
- The seller is one of our best performers with no such issues in the past.
The reasons being provided by Myntra are more related to logistic flow, wherein I am highlighting the manufacturing defects. The holes are such minute that it could easily miss a manual checking process, it could have been also missed due to such colour of the product which makes it more difficult to observe at first sight.
The processes that Myntra is referring to must be common across all its products, but that doesnt mean Myntra is not getting any product damage complains. So, does that mean Myntra is not processing any refunds against the damage product complaints, I am sure Myntra must be processing thousands and lakhs of it. Hence, this request should be also consider one of it.
Where Myntra is highlighting that the seller is one of its best with no such issues in past, Myntra is ignoring the fact that the customer here is also raising first such complaint related to damage product. So that confirms the best track record of customer aswell.
Where there are manual checks involved, there could be a miss which a reputed company like Myntra should accept instead of playing such for a Rs.***/- refund.
Want Myntra to take back the damaged product and refund me back the purchase price.
