I am filing this consumer complaint against DTDC Express Limited for severe damage to my package shipped from Kerala to Goa (Tracking No: D**********). Dispatched on January **, ****, and delivered on January **, ****, the consignment contained valuable spice items as a wedding gift for my friend. Upon opening, the box was found broken open, with contents spilled and several high-value spice packets rendered unusable, causing a direct financial loss of Rs. *,***.
Photos of the damaged packaging and affected items are attached for evidence. Despite my prior positive experience with courier services over two years, DTDC's handling failed to protect these perishable goods, eroding my trust during this important occasion. I have already raised this internally with DTDC, but their response was unsatisfactory, and the complaint was closed without resolution.
Relief Sought:
Full compensation of Rs. *,*** for the damaged goods.
Immediate action via mediation or legal notice to DTDC.
