I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the loss of my bag due to the negligence of More Supermarket, Sira.
On February **th, around *:** PM, I visited the store for shopping. As per store policy, I left my bag at the designated area where customers are required to keep their belongings since bags are not allowed inside. However, upon completing my shopping, I returned to find my bag missing. I immediately informed the store manager, but no action was taken. I also escalated the matter to customer care, but I have not received any proper response or resolution.
It has now been over a week, and despite my repeated efforts, I have failed to recover my lost bag and valuables. Instead of assisting me, the store has merely advised me to file an FIR and handle the case on my own. This is unacceptable, as I followed the stores regulations and entrusted my belongings to their designated area. The store failed to provide basic security measures or have a representative present to safeguard customers' belongings.
To support my complaint, I have attached the following documents:
Photos of the designated bag drop area showing the lack of security.
Copy of my purchase bill as proof of my visit to the store.
Email correspondence with customer care, highlighting their negligence and lack of proper response.
Since the store failed to take responsibility for ensuring the security of my belongings, I request the concerned authority to direct More Retail Pvt. Ltd. to compensate me for the loss of my valuables and the time wasted due to their negligence. Additionally, I urge you to take appropriate action against the store and instruct them to implement proper security measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
