Trivial Chapter Hyderabad - Complaint Against Trivial Chapter for Deficiency in Service Unfair Trade Practice

Dear Voxya Team,

I am filing this complaint against Trivial Chapter regarding gross deficiency in service, unfair trade practices, and the mental, emotional, and financial hardship I have suffered due to their repeated false assurances and failure to deliver the promised immigration services.

I recently spoke with one of the lawyers from Voxya. During my own verification, I discovered that Trivial Chapter's Hyderabad office, which was represented to me as their head office, has reportedly been shut down. This has left me extremely concerned and uncertain about the legitimacy of the company and how to recover my hard earned money.
Background
I initially enrolled with Trivial Chapter in March **** for an Austrian Work Permit process. Based on the company's advice, I was repeatedly asked to switch to different countries due to alleged processing issues and was eventually moved to the Greece Work Permit process.

As I reside in Bengaluru, I dealt with their Bangalore office. Before collecting payment, Ms. Shwetha from the Bangalore office assured me that I would receive my work permit within the promised timeline. These assurances were a major reason for my decision to proceed with their services.

Based on these representations, I paid ₹******out of the agreed package amount of approximately ₹*.* lakhs, trusting that the company would process my application professionally and within the committed timeline.

Continuous False Promises and Delays

Since accepting my payment, Trivial Chapter has repeatedly extended the promised completion date without providing any genuine explanation or documentary proof.

The promised timelines kept changing as follows:

- Initially promised: Mid-September ****
- Extended to: End of December ****
- Then: January ****
- Then: February ****
- Latest assurance: May ****

Every single deadline has passed without any progress.

It has now been well over a year and half since I began this work opportunity journey, yet I have not received:

- Any Work Permit approval
- Any application/reference number
- Any proof that my application was ever submitted
- Any official communication from the concerned authorities
- Any transparent update regarding my case

Despite repeated follow ups, I have received nothing except excuses and changing timelines.

Refund Request Ignored

After losing confidence in the company due to their continuous failure to deliver the promised service, I formally requested a full refund of ₹*,**,***.

Since then, I have sent multiple reminder emails and follow ups.

However, the company has completely ignored my communications. There has been no acknowledgment, no refund process initiated, and no meaningful response from their head office despite several weeks having passed.

Such conduct clearly amounts to gross negligence, deficiency in service, and an unfair trade practice after collecting a substantial amount from a customer.

Mental, Emotional and Financial Hardship

This entire experience has caused me severe mental stress, emotional trauma, and financial hardship.

I invested my hard earned savings with the genuine hope of building my career abroad. Instead, I have faced endless delays, uncertainty, and complete non cooperation.

Because of Trivial Chapter's conduct:

- My career plans have been severely disrupted.
- My family's future planning has been affected.
- I have suffered significant financial loss.
- I have experienced continuous anxiety and emotional distress due to the uncertainty surrounding my case.

Relief Sought

I respectfully request Voxya to initiate action against Trivial Chapter and help me obtain the following relief:

*. Immediate refund of ₹*,**,*** paid by me.

*. Interest at **% per annum on the amount paid, calculated from the respective dates of payment until the date of actual refund.

*. Appropriate action against Trivial Chapter for deficiency in service and unfair trade practices under the Consumer Protection Act.

*. Compensation for the mental agony, harassment, financial loss, and inconvenience caused by the company's negligent and misleading conduct.

I am enclosing all supporting documents, including payment receipts, invoices, emails, WhatsApp conversations, agreement, offer letter, and other relevant records in support of my complaint.

I sincerely request Voxya to treat this matter as urgent and assist me in recovering my hard earned money and obtaining appropriate relief against the company.
