Pristyn care - Complaint Against Pristyn Care for Negligence and Failure to Provide Promised Medical Services

I am submitting this formal complaint against Pristyn Care for their gross negligence and failure to provide the services promised for my mother’s medical treatment. My mother, Roqayya Khatoon, underwent a hysteroscopy polypectomy surgery on **th September **** through Pristyn Care, with the primary objective of obtaining a biopsy report to determine whether the detected polyp was cancerous.

Post-surgery, the doctor informed us that no polyp had been found during the procedure but that a tissue sample would be sent for biopsy to determine if further surgery was required. Originally, the polyp itself was supposed to be sent for biopsy. This surgery was coordinated by one of their representatives, Priyanka Yadav, who confirmed in writing that biopsy charges were included in the surgery cost (a screenshot of our WhatsApp conversation is attached for reference).

After the surgery, I followed up several times to inquire about the biopsy report, but Priyanka Yadav consistently assured me that the hospital was being contacted for updates. However, after nearly ** days, on **th October ****, I was informed that the biopsy sample had not been sent for testing and had become unusable. This negligence has defeated the entire purpose of the surgery, as the primary objective—obtaining biopsy results—is now unattainable.

This oversight has not only caused immense emotional distress but also necessitates repeating the entire medical process. A surgery is a serious matter involving physical pain, anesthesia, and a prolonged recovery period, and repeating this due to the carelessness of the healthcare provider is deeply frustrating and distressing.

I am seeking a full refund of the surgery costs, as Pristyn Care failed to fulfill their commitments and handled this critical medical procedure recklessly. I also request Voxya to take appropriate action against Pristyn Care for this violation of consumer rights and medical negligence.

I have attached all relevant documentation, including the WhatsApp chat confirming that the biopsy was included in the surgery, along with the post-surgery communication logs.


I further request that, as an initial step, Pristyn Care be instructed to delay the EMI payment for November until this issue is fully resolved. Any missed or delayed payment could negatively impact my credit score, which currently stands at ***. I hope for prompt action to prevent any financial repercussions while this matter is being addressed.
