I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the treatment received from Air India Express on April **, ****, at Mangalore International Airport (IXE). My companions and I had booked tickets for a flight with Air India Express, intending to transit through Dubai, with a flight from Mangalore to Muscat and then to Dubai. However, upon arriving at Mangalore Airport, we were denied boarding without any prior notice or explanation, despite having valid online boarding passes. This resulted in a significant financial loss of approximately **** AED, as well as the loss of four business working days in Dubai.
We were left stranded at Mangalore Airport without any alternative solutions offered by Air India Express. This experience not only caused inconvenience but also financial strain and disrupted our plans.
In addition to expressing our dissatisfaction, we request a refund for the full cost of our tickets, as well as compensation for the financial and opportunity losses incurred due to the negligence and lack of transparency on the part of Air India Express.
We demand a thorough investigation into this matter and appropriate compensation for the losses incurred. We hope that by bringing this issue to your attention, measures will be taken to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future and to ensure fair treatment of passengers.
