HDFC banck - Complain Against HDFC

In **** HDFC Bank offered to settle my credit card for Rs.***** whereas in I was supposed to pay the money in * instalments. When they made the offer that I can pay the money in * instalments they didn't inform me that they will continue to charge me for making payments in instalments for * months. They issued a settlement letter and that was the only document that I received from them. In **** I applied for an education loan from SBI for my MBA from IIM. In August **** I got to know that there is a payment due for Rs. **,***.** and that I should make the payment in order for my education loan to get approved. If HDFC Bank would have informed me in **** only that making payments for settlement in instalments would cost me another Rs. *****.**, I in my right state of mind would have never done that. Nobody, not a single person from the bank informed me they would charge me this way for making instalment payments. I would have paid Rs. ***** in one go instead of paying Rs. *****.** later. I made the payment because it was more important for me to get the education loan. But now I plan to go legal against them for miscommunication and cheating customers and looting money from them.
