Goibibo - Cheating No refund by GoIbibo

- Flight ticket in SpiceJet was booked through GoIbibo (website) on ** January ****.
- Tickets (PNR: PBKRVZ) were issued in the name of Philipose Chacko & Ramany Philipose, for onward travel (COK – DXB) on **th March **** and return travel (DXB – COK) on ** April ****.
- Total Amount paid was INR **,***/-, including GoIbibo Service charges.
- Due to Covid pandemic and the onset of flight cancellations, the ticket was cancelled on ** March ****.
- Since GoIbibo did not process any cancellation even after multiple requests, cancellation was made by directly contacting SpiceJet office on ** March ****.
- Cancellation confirmation was sent by SpiceJet, vide email dated ** April ****, stating that the refund amount of INR ***** has been refunded to GoIbibo account as on ** March ****.
- Forwarded the mail from SpiceJet of their confirmation of cancellation/refund back to GoIbibo account, requesting to transfer the cancellation proceeds back to my original payment mode, on ** March ****.
- Multiple attempts to reach GoIbibo over phone failed. Repeated emails were also sent, but no response from GoIbibo.
- Finally, a call was received from GoIbibo on ** June ****, stating that they have processed refund back to my account (original payment mode), and it will take * – ** days for the credit to reflect in my account. No reference number was provided by GoIbibo official.
- Even after * ½ months from above, no refund is received till date. Multiple efforts to reach GoIbibo by phone and email, proved futile.

It has been a total mental and monetary harassment by GoIbibo in this regard, running behind this for more than * months now.
Hence claiming compensation for harassment alongwith the refund amount with interest for such delay and legal charges.
