Praveen sharma filed complaint against Indigo airlines on Aug 6, 2020
On the **nd of July I was supposed to board indigo flight *E *** From Delhi to Cochin at *:** am in the morning as I had an international flight to Muscat on the same day from cochin airport. Due to the ongoing corona pandemic, I called and confirmed at Cochin airport whether any E pass would be required or not, and they said it very clearly that terminal change does not require an E-pass.
However I was not allowed to board my flight from delhi to cochin by indigo airlines .I even asked them to talk at Cochin airport but they did not allow me to board the flight. After * hour of mental torture and incessant pleading to the staff to understand my situation, I asked them to at least refund my entire money as I had paid for extra baggage and my ticket was refundable but this request was also denied.
Then I went to the vistara counter and enquired about E -pass requirement in my case, which they said is not required and I bought a new ticket and boarded my flight. On reaching Cochin airport i did not face any issue as I was on transit and once again confirmed there about the same.I feel cheated and mentally harassed. Indigo airlines cannot imagine the mental agony i went through, the torturing thought of missing my flight from cochin to muscat despite waiting for * months of lockdown.
I demand indigo airlines to compensate for my mental agony and refund my entire money.I request higher authorities to train their staff properly so that the common man should not be made to suffer what i went through.
