Dear Sir/ Ma’am,
This mail is with reference to the damaged baggage on my flight from Hyderabad to Pune on *th April **** *.** am
I was on a connecting flight travelling from Indore to Pune. The PNR for the flight is L*CGJI. I boarded the flight from Indore at *.** pm, reached Hyderabad at around **.** pm. I was informed that you can collect the baggage from Pune airport directly.
After a * hour wait at Hyderabad, tired I somehow manage to crawl to Belt no.* to collect my bag at *.** am in the morning on *th. After a good ** min wait at the belt, my bag is put on the conveyor and the conveyor stops as soon as the bag comes out a foot away from the conveyor source. I manage to walk to the bag and as soon as I catch hold of the belt the entire bag opens with all my stuff fallen.
Some fall on the ground and some on the belt. Shocked and embarrassed I look for help. I find a person Savio from Indigo who is equally tired somehow walk up to me and tries to gauge the situation. He was helpful to get a trolley for me. I then meet Tushar who was I guess the security person at Pune airport. He too tried to find out the source of this mishap and informed that it actually happened at Hyderabad airport and not Pune airport. Finally after an hour or so, after filling a PIR form, Savio & Tushar promise me that and I quote, “Sir, You will receive a call before you reach home”. I trusted them only to realize that I was fooled and till date I am waiting for a call. A chat with customer care hasida also did not yield any result. She informed that your number was not reachable. A very standard and politically correct response.
I request you to please look into the matter and do let me know who is responsible for the misplaced items or (stolen items if I can call it) and how will I be compensated for the loss?
