I traveled in Air India on the *th of August **** from Kolkata to Mumbai on a Business Trip. On reaching Mumbai I collected my Checked in Suit Case and found it completely damaged and one of the Roller wheels literally ripped out and a Big Hole in its place. The sides where cracked and it was horrible.I reported the matter to Air India Baggage services who mentioned that the vendor will contact me and collect the luggage for repair\inspection and if vendor confirms it is not repairable then I will get the cost of the baggage. I Explicitly informed Miss Megha that I will be leaving Mumbai on the *th morning and i need my Suitcase since i don't have anything else to carry my luggage in. I was assured that the vendor will simply check the suitcase and then if it's repairable they will give it to me the next day if not they will simply submit a claimed refund(**** rs).The vendor collected the suitcase on the *th and after that no contact.I called Miss Megah Shaka and baggage services *-** times and i got no help.After calling Miss Megha so many times she finally picked up and told me she will check and call back..No call ever came till now. Even baggage services were not able to help..The vendor mentioned that he submitted the bag to Air india and there is noting he can do..I had to leave my business meeting at * in the night in Airoli and go looking for a bag..I ended up spending **** Ruppes just to get an ordinary bag to return home.
It was really frustrating and till now no resolution
