Axis Bank - Axis Bank cheque has been returned

Axis Bank, Paschim Enclave, Rohtak Road, Delhi ****** is one of the challan collection centres of M.C.D. (Municipal Corporation of Delhi) as property tax. On **-**-**** I had deposited a cheque of Rs.**,*** (Forty Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty-Six only), cheque no. ******, Bank of India, A\c No.***************, Bhera Enclave Branch, Delhi, dated **/**/**** as Property Tax Challan at Axis Branch, Paschim Enclave, Rohtak Road, Delhi ******.
My concern of complaint against axis bank is that when I went through my Account statement of Bank Of India online after three months. I noticed that my said cheque has been returned and the description mentioned is RETURNED:**: Drawer signature required. I was shocked to see this because as Axis bank representative have thoroughly checked the challan and cheque and deposited it with them. They also gave a counterfoil of challan after stamping it. If they would have told me on the spot that my cheque was not signed. Then I would have signed it on spot. I did not have born the loss of Rs.**** (Seven Thousand One Hundred Eighteen Only) as a house tax rebate, which a person got. If he pays his property tax before **th June.
