My family recently changed our plans as part of the family plan that Airtel offers. Already we were fed up with the company because of the huge amounts we were all paying even though the standard of service was always sub par. Then once we changed we had paid our outstanding bills of previous plan. Recently we got an inflated bill almost four times what we used to pay of Rs, ****. When we asked the representative said this is the cumulative sum of our individual bills from the previous plans. I specifically remember paying the bill for all of us before we changed to the new plan. On top of this, today Airtel has taken away the outgoing services from all of our phones. The deadline for this plan is still ** days away but still today Airtel has taken away our basic services. We have been with this godforsaken company for over four years and this is the level of trust and professionalism the company leaves with its customers. We have always paid our bills regularly and prior to this there was only ONE incident of delayed bill payment by a few days, and on that too Airtel had put a penalty fee. When asking the representative to debar the services they simply did not cooperate and told me to pay the bill. They are telling me to pay the bill according to their whims when I still have two weeks till the deadline! This is what Airtel reduces its customers to. They are robbing everyone in this country. Prior to this I have had at least three other incidents where I have been harassed and inconvenienced as a customer. This is the last draw. I am moving to another carrier. Recommendations would be appreciated.
