Chandrima Pandit filed complaint against Airtel on Nov 18, 2019
My phone suddenly lost the network at * AM in the morning. From *.** AM to *.** AM, I had tried reaching the Airtel Customer Care service without any response. The mobile number to be keyed in kept getting rejected in spite of it being correct. Finally, at around *.** AM I could connect to Customer Care only to get the information that my sim must have got corrupted.
Being extremely busy, I could only reach Airtel Store at around *.** PM in the evening and managed to get a new Sim by submitting my Passport as a document. I was assured that the sim would be activated within * hrs. After around an hour, I get the information that without any reason, my document has got rejected.
I tried reaching customer care from *.** PM to *.** PM and after an Executive (and his supervisor) hung up once, got the information which I was already aware of with an apology, an advice to reach out to the Airtel store and a promise of a call-back at THEIR time-window (please note not as per customer convenience). Harassment to the core for a loyal postpaid customer of ** years.
I got my refund. You guys have really helped me when I needed it the most! Thanks again for your help :-)
