HYUNDAI - A Victim of Hyundai Dealers

I want to understand is it a blunder done by Hyundai to release the CRETA Base Variant with such a price?

Does Hyundai really stop the production of the CRETA Base Variant?



Why I have been compelled to bring into your notice is that from the past few months, I have been visiting my nearby showrooms for White CRETA Base diesel variant registration. In the month of November’**, I first visited a showroom and was informed that due to high demand of CRETA Base model (the model that I wanted), it has a waiting of *-* months and then within a week’s time I got a call from the showroom that the model is available and can be delivered in a day or so, whereas it’s on condition that I have to buy an accessory from them of Rs. *lac. I denied their offer and waited for * months as it was a festive season. Then, in January'** I again went to the same dealer to check the availability. The same condition offered to me to buy an accessory of Rs * lac was offered and within a week time I will get the required model. I have checked with *-* nearby dealers and everyone has the same offer.



Now here my concern is, the dealers on one hand saying that Hyundai have stopped the production of CRETA Base Model whereas if a customer is ready to pay *lac on accessories then the dealer will get the model available within a week. Is this some kind of bluff or what?



Kindly look into this matter and help me get my required model.
