I want to bring this to notice that has happened on several occasions. I was offered credit card lifetime free by Hdfc which was then levied with a membership fee of ***. After many followups and letters, the charges imposed were reversed. Then we were charged with non-maintainence of **k in savings account that too twice for the same month without intimation in spite of paying charges for instant alert.
It is my right to be informed about any deduction done. After further communications that amount was reversed but GST imposed was deducted for a fault of Hdfc. Now we have been charged debit card fees of *** rupees without prior intimation. Why is instant alert money being deducted if they do not give service? No bank levies debit card charges and if it is their policy then the same must be informed to the consumer before issuing the debit card.
I cannot keep following up after every erroneous charge imposed by HDFC bank. I seek justice.
