I am a photography enthusiast and I have been planning to upgrade my camera equipment recently. I ordered a Canon EOS **D priced at INR **,*** from amazon.in on January **, ****. I was promised a delivery date of February **, ****. However, I was shocked and extremely disappointed to find out wrong product delivered to me. I received Canon EOS ***D II, priced at INR **,***. I immediately complained to the customer care, and as usual, they told me that an internal investigation has been registered and I should call them on February **, ****.
First, this whole game is not at all fair with customer. It is the customer who has to do all the follow-up work with Amazon from beginning till the end. Second, this is not the first incident happening to me, I ordered DJI Mavic Air worth INR **,*** in October ****, whereas I received cheap helicopter toys worth INR *,***. I registered the complaint on voxya.com that time too and my issue was resolved after several weeks (my money was refunded by amazon.in).
However, I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with whatever has happened to me TWICE in last five months. It absolutely feels like a mental torture, my friends and flatmates are making jokes on these two incidents, saying that “I am a regular bakra of amazon.in", “amazon.in ne iska phir kaat diya”, etc.
In both these incidents in past, I ordered costly items, each valued at around INR **,***. I had to spend significant amount of time out from my job to deal with these incidents. This time I straight-away decide to take the matter to consumer court. I demand an apology, quick replacement of the wrong product with the correct genuine product, monetary compensation of INR *,**,*** for all the mental agony and painful follow-up work I have to do.
I am very pleased with Voxya. They helped me resolve my issue without much hassle. Very impressed and satisfied.
