When I wanted to purchase a sofa for my home in October ****, I visited the Pepperfry Showroom in Whitefield, Bangalore, Since The model I liked was not available for delivery at that showroom the showroom staff helped me too book the same from the App, I also got some extra discount because of booking from the app.

both with * year warranty.
Delivery
Although I have booked both * seater and * seater sofas at the same time,
the * seater sofa was delivered on **th October **** and * seater delivered on **th November ****.
During the delivery time I have received sofa with plastic legs instead of pine wood legs as mentioned in the website, I complained the same to the service person who came to fit the legs, he mentioned that the website was wrong and the model never had pine wood legs.
Since I liked the sofa design and color I kept the sofa and didn't return it.
Damages

Some time in the middle of ****, my wife while sitting on the single seater sofa leaned a little on the sofa's right hand rest for support, the sofa's hand rest broke immediately.

sometime in the second week of September ****, I got my dinner and just sat on the right side of the * seater sofa and the sofa's right side front leg immediately broke.
Complaint and service
I have raised a service request on *th September ****, since both the sofas are still under warranty ,
The service person arrived at home on **th September ****, after inspection he explained that the frame of the sofa is broken because of the inferior quality of the wood used for the frame. and are not repairable, and that I can claim for a return or replacement.
He updated the same to his team, that the sofas are not repairable.
Sales Team Response
On **th September **** I received a call from Pepperfry customer service and they have informed me that since the sofas are not repairable they can not provide a return or refund claiming that the damage was due to improper usage.
I have spent a huge amount of money, *****/- rupees on these sofas which is much more than the average price of a sofa, and I expected the quality accordingly.
I can not understand the support team's claim that the damage to the sofa was due to usage.
All we did was sit on the sofa which was the basic purpose of the sofa.

I request you to Kindly look at this issue and provide me justice.
