- Warranty Issue Service center denied to repair or replace the product which is under warranty Open
I bought Dizo Watch R on **th March **** from Flipkart and I'm facing issues in power button as the power button of the watch is not working. It's happening from a few weeks (around *th or *th September) but I didn't bother because it was working fine also without power button but on **th September by mistake watch goes in power saving mode and to come back in normal mode you have to press the power button for * seconds and in power saving mode watch didn't connects with the phone and it only shows date and time, so I thought I should visit service center for the resolution as the watch is in warranty period. So I visit the service center on ** September **** and they told me that, "my watch has hard scratch on display so they can't do anything in it as watches can be replaced only and it can't be replaced because of the scratch on the watch". So I asked them what is the relation between the power button and scratch on display and they told me that they can’t replace watch which has hard scratch, so I told them that scratches are normal when you wear a watch all the time daily and they said they can’t do anything if watch has hard scratch. So I want to know what is the meaning of warranty in company's as well as service center’s views as it's been not more than * months after purchasing the watch and there is issue in power button which is a manufacturer issue or defect and the warranty is for a year which means ** months and still they can’t do anything in it. I can’t understand, then why they are providing warranty if they can’t do anything if there is scratch on the watch or they are just telling lies about warranty and only saying that to gain customers only. It's not my problem that it can only be replaced, I didn't asked them to replace the watch they should just make it repaired so that it can work properly or if they can’t do anything then they should refund the money I paid to them. As the watch is in the power saving mode no features of the watch can be used and it becomes a normal watch from a smart watch and it’s only showing date and time.
So please kindly help me with this issue, I also tried to call the Dizo hotline number but it didn’t connect, so I send a mail to them regarding my issue on ** September after returning from service center and still waiting for their response. I'm just a normal student and I bought this watch with my savings and I also want to know what is the use of a smart watch, if you can't wear it because if it gets a scratch on the screen then you can't claim for warranty, then what should a person do, make it a showpiece and hang it on the wall. So please look into my problem and help me to resolve as soon as possible.
