I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction regarding the significant delay and mishandling of my recent order of an LG microwave oven, purchased on *nd October during the Big Billion Day sale (Order ID: OD******************). The payment of ₹**,*** was made upfront using my HDFC credit card, which included a discounted price of ₹**,*** and an additional ₹*,*** discount for using the card.
The product was initially scheduled to be shipped by **th October with a delivery date of **th October. However, despite multiple follow-ups with your support team, the order was not shipped by the promised date. On **th October, a customer service agent assured me that it was a common system issue, claiming that the product had been shipped but the status was not reflecting properly. I was repeatedly reassured that my product would arrive on time.
By **th October, the delivery had still not taken place, prompting me to reach out again. I was assured that the product would arrive by ** PM that day or, at most, within the next ** hours. However, the same pattern of empty promises continued when I contacted support on **th and **th October, only to be told that the product was out of stock and that I should cancel and reorder—despite having purchased it at a discounted price during the sale. This crucial information about the stock shortage should have been communicated at the time of purchase, not after repeated delays.
After escalating the matter via consumer forums and social media, my order was finally shipped on **th October. However, as of **th October, the product has been "stuck in delivery," according to your courier partner, eDelivery, citing operational issues. Neither Flipkart nor eDelivery has provided any clear resolution or timeline for when I can expect my item.
This ongoing delay and miscommunication have caused me considerable stress over the past week. I trusted Flipkart as a reliable platform, especially during festive sales, but this experience has left me extremely frustrated. I do not wish to cancel the order or pay extra to purchase the product again.
I am requesting that Flipkart deliver my microwave oven within the next ** hours, or alternatively, refund me the full original price of ₹**,*** so that I can purchase the item from another vendor without incurring a financial loss.
I trust this issue will be resolved promptly, and I look forward to receiving your immediate action.
