As the response form upgrad after payment was completely unsatisfactory I have asked for refund policy to the upgrad guy *-* times within *-* days after payment (screen shot attached) but it is not provided to me. After that I received universities contract document where is was written I have * month trial period available to revoke my admission without giving any reason. So i acted accordingly and asked for refund within trial period. But they are refusing the refund by saying I have only asked for upgrad refund policy at start and never again. I have mailed them that i have asked for refund policy because I'm unaware of that, just after *-* days of admission and they didn't given me that and the contract from university clearly saying that i have one month for revocation.
There are many other points I have mentioned in mail to upgrad which are creating problems, as below:
Respected Madam,
I have gone through the IU contract document, it is clearly mentioned in the contract that the student has the right of revocation within the trial period of one month without giving any reasons. When the university itself allows the revocation then what is the issue in that to upgrad.(Revocation Clause Screenshot Attached)
Also, considering the Indian latest guidelines of UGC (University Grants Commision) about the refund, it is cleared by them that the entire fee, including all charges, should be refunded upto October **, **** or cutting only ****/- as a processing fee.
Also, the response from the upgrad after making the payment was completely unprofessional. The upgrad platform was not working properly and not showing relevant or necessary content from the day one and it was not resolved many days even after making calls and messages. Considering the same I have talked and informed my counselor for refund and also asked him to give me the refund policy before even start of the course (Screenshot Attached). Which was not issued by the upgrad till date. Also the external link provided in the admission offer pdf is blocked by the search engine.
Also, while giving the information about the course it was clearly told by your side that ILETS exam will not be required for the course, which is now making trouble in the visa process and also costs near about *****/-(Fifteen Thousand Rupees). Also it is known that now the APS certificate is mandatory for the application which will again cost around *****/- (Eighteen Thousand Rupees).
It was told by you that the amount required for a block account for my course will be around **** euros only which was one of the main reasons to enroll in this course as the complete amount to arrange by me is within ** lakhs. But the same information is not available on the internet or German embassy/ government side anywhere, it shows the requirement of more than ***** euros. Please clarify the same.
Also, when the only unit live lecture i have attended firstly, it was afterwards get to know that the book provided or the tuition provided by you was not as per IU course, it was the old book/course is provided/teaches to us. Please explain how this kind of unprofessionalism is acceptable regarding the main course book itself.
It is also known that some students have got the refund after enrolling and also after the course is started. So it's my request to consider the above points like informing about refund, IU right of revocation clause, UGC refund rule , issuance of wrong /old books course material, ILETS, APS certificate, block account amount please refund the amount immediately.
The trial period of my course is upto **th of october, please refund the amount and conclude the matter within *-* days, after **th of october the responsibility of the same will be with upgrad only. Please contact me as soon as possible.
