Spicejet airline - Unwarranted second delay made me miss my connecting flight

I bought a round trip ticket BDQ-GOP-BDQ from Makemytdtrip on the **/**/****
The first sector on the *rd November **** went fine. The trouble started on the return
journey on *th November **** when I received a text message from Specejet at **.**
(less than ** hour notice) announcing a delayed departure at **:** from GOP
This option left me with no other choice as I had a connecting flight DEL-BDQ.
I reached GOP airport earlier than the reporting time. After talking to both parties
concerned i.e. Spicejet and Indigo, I have been assured by both the airlines that an arrival
of Spicejet at **:** will give me enough time to connect to my Indigo flight at **:** from DEL
to BDQ
Unfortunately Spicejet departed from GOP at around **:** and arrived at DEL only at **:** living
me stranded in Delhi. Since my Indigo flight DEL-BDQ was the last flight of the day, I had to purchase
a new ticket to the nearest town which is AMD at a cost of Rs.*,***.** + ***.** Taxi charge
THE REASON FOR THIS CLAIM IS FOR THIS UNWARRANTED FURTHER DELAY WHICH IS THE CAUSE OF MISSING MY CONNECTING FLIGHT, LIVING ME STRANDED AT DELHI FORCING ME TO PURCHASE ANOTHER TICKET
