- Trip to mauritius by travel triangle Open
we are a travel agency from Chennai, arranging package tours to several destinations. One of our regular guests requested us for Mauritius * Days and * nights trip. Since we do not have a service network we approached the travel triangle. From their side, we received a few quotations of which we finalized one person. The program was planned on Nov *th of ****. We were in a discussion with the agency on Nov *. After speaking to their travel agencies contact person, she promised us good service for our clients.
We agreed and asked for other details and itinerary.
The next day they send us their type of itinerary and we corrected it as per our requirements such as Rooms for * days, breakfast for all days, dinner for all days, with all seven days with one place of sightseeing.
They agreed and we paid an advance amount of XXXXX as against the total payment of XXXXX.
The next day being a Sunday, we did not receive any information and when I called them on Monday, suddenly they started talking to us in a different way.
When I demanded she introduced another person and he is the sweet-talking person keep on dragging till evening *.**. Even though they took money as an advance, they are saying that they are not responsible for our guests in Mauritius. When I asked for a travel triangle executive's number, he sent one girl's no. and when I called her she said she will call me after talking to the accused. But she never called me again. In the meantime, they called me and said they could not find rooms for the guest.
When I came forward with our sources for the room and asked for the arrangement other than rooms they took another * hours to finalize it.
At the time of booking the room, he was asking my debit card details which I declined.
Further, he sent me a link to book room as against our choice. Still, I followed his suggestion as the next day our guests were leaving for their Honeymoon.
I have finalized the room booking by paying directly from my bank. By now it was *.** and the guy left stating he will finalize all by tomorrow.
On the *th morning when I called up they send another invoice for XXXXX and demanded to pay the balance immediately which I obliged because my passengers were already flying by then (tickets booked by us). As time was running short, I never received any information from their side.
When I called the lady staff (as per the accused info) and fired her as I needed to fix things before our guest reached the destination she was dumb and never spoke to me with anything substantial.
Finally, I was checking with the guy for vouchers as it was already *.** and I expected our guests to reach Mauritius. We never made our guests wait anywhere on our trips. He was sending the voucher by *.** by then our guests had arrived and I requested them to wait for a few minutes.
Finally, they were picked up and taken to an apartment which was booked by me as advised by the accused.
The other problem was they now changed their itinerary all together with no breakfasts, no dinners and just three days of sightseeing expeditions as against our * breakfasts, * dinners and * days of excursions.
I took this to travel triangles customer care by sending mail.
The result was one executive called me and shared hundreds of profused apologies but didn't take any action against the staff who never called after, the agency which promised to give us service and took money but not served properly.
Finally, I have refunded our guests XXXXX money to keep our companies reputation in their mind as they are our best customers.
