I and my husband booked a trip to Bhutan through Travel Triangle for the month of Aug **** and paid the initial instalment of **,***. On *th Aug the Travel Agent (Valley Tours and Trek) informed us that we won't be able to travel due to PM Modi's visit. We asked them to give us the refund since the cancellation was from their end. But the agent was only giving us **% of the amount even when it was not our fault. After multiple follow up with Travel Triangle and the agent, we could not get the full refund of the amount. We had no option but to move the trip to Nov since we were losing a lot of money. The agent misbehaved with us whenever we tried to talk to them. The agent (Valley Tours and Treks) did not send us any confirmation of the new dates neither did they send us any hotel vouchers or anything. Now we cannot travel in Nov due to a medical condition so we asked the agent to give us the refund as per the cancellation policy but the agent is not ready to pay us any refund and is threatening that he would charge us ***% cancellation charges. As per their cancellation policy, they have to refund at least **% of the amount if we cancel. But he is not ready to pay a single penny. I have been following up with Travel Triangle and escalated it multiple times but Travel Triangle is of no help.
