- Sofa Return Request Rejected with 7day Return Policy Period Closed
We ordered a * Seater Sofa on **/**/**** from Pepperfry from their website www.pepperfry.com. The Order No. is *********. The Sofa that has been delivered to us on **/**/**** is not comfortable to sit on. The cushioning provided is not of good quality. You can feel the hard ply/board base below the seating area. So, we placed a Return Request for the Sofa on **/**/****. However, the Company has now refused the Return stating that " Item delivered to you is as per the Item specifications mentioned and reference images provided on the pepperfry.com Item Details page." I fail to understand, how is this justified for a reputable marketplace like Pepperfry. As a consumer, we all have a right to reject a Product of Poor Quality that has been delivered to us. Unfortunately, there is no way to test or get a feel of these products, as they are not on display in their own stores. So, I feel it is not right to reject a return request on such a basis.
