Hi, I have a credit card from SBI, I couldn’t able to repay because of huge financial debt happened in short time and various personal/ medical issues. In the last week of April ****, I received a call from
SBI recovery agent from Bangalore (Named Nageshwar Rao) we had a discussion regarding the payment, I said, I will pay some amount on Salary day, because we had a call on last week of April but he forced me to pay in one or two hours, I said, not possible, he called to my Mother and abused her with very bad foul language, after that he again called me and asked for the payment and threatened that I will receive calls until I make payment. I asked him with humble request for the time but he refused to give and took another step and this time he called to my Employers desk and started abusing them with foul language, he used to make *** to *** calls per day to my office with different numbers, used very bad foul language with my employers, I had a huge pressure to take a legal action against him, but I don’t know how to proceed, they literally damaged my reputation in my office and also that person discussed regarding the outstanding amount with my higher officials.
Then, I had arranged **** INR and paid to card and requested him not to call to my office for next few days or till my salary day, now he increased the amount to ***** INR and threatened me, until I pay **K, he will not stop calls to my office, to be frank, I really tried to borrow **K from my circle but due to very short friend circle and due to month end I couldn’t able to arrange **k, since I didn’t paid he didn’t stopped calling to my office and abusing them with foul language, I faced this trauma for * days continuously and mean while my pay day has arrived and I visited nearest SBI CARD branch in Hyderabad and contacted recovery manager and discussed this issue. He also didn’t help me properly, I paid **K on the same day and requested for settlement and to stop the calls to my office. After payment of **K, I committed that I will pay the remaining outstanding in three or four EMIS, they agreed on that day. Even after that **K payment, the recovery agent called to my office twice in a week timeline and abused them with foul language, when I came to know about this, I called to recovery person, to ask why they called to my office, he did a big drama that he didn’t called and warned me indirectly to make payment on the committed date otherwise I will face more trouble.
I’m really afraid of my job because of this recovery person. Recently, my parents got affected with COVID and I may not pay some partial amount on the committed date. I’m really scared of his actions.
My humble request with folded hands, Please help me in resolving this issue and please show me a path to stop him making calls to my office.
