- Repaired car and replaced major parts without customer consent Open
It is regarding my Mahindra XUV *** Registration No MH** FR **** Make ****. I have sent my vehicle on dated Sept **, **** to your Kolshet Service Station Thane as I was facing problem with my clutch pedal Which was not coming back again after being down and for proper washing,
Next day I got call from your Company advisor Mr, Swapanil Bhosale , I explained him above mentioned my car problem and requested him to give me approximate estimate so I can decide whether I get repair or I take back my car.
He assured me to call back after inspection, but I didn’t receive any call from him, meanwhile due to death in my family and my sickness, I couldn’t follow up with him, after few day I called him on **th Oct and asked about status he said he has already replaced my car’s clutch plate, pressure plate and flywheel without my consent which cost me very heavy according my budget.
My complaint regarding my car was only the clutch pedal mainly because I myself drove the car and handover the towing person.
Being a handicap person It is not possible to visit your service centre for follow up, but anyhow I managed to meet personally your advisor to resolve the issue but Your advisor shown me total estimate of approximately *.** Lacs and According him that he already replaced major part worth Rs.**,*** without my consent and keeping me in dark.
This amount was totally impossible for me to take my car which was not possible for me because I am not in a position to pay such a huge amount.
On seeing my inability to take a car and making such a huge payment, your advisor gave me a kinda weird and humiliating solution , According to him, he will get all the new parts out of my car and replace it with all the old bad parts and give me back the car, And after getting these old bad parts, my car will not run at all and I have to pay the towing person and take home the car.
Even I met the CEO Mr. Amit Janwadkar and Customer Care Office Ms Varsha of your company, But have to write with great disappointment that they too cannot rectify this huge mistake and resolve it.
On saying this by your engineer and mechanic, now I feel that he changed parts of my car or not?
Was my car so in bad condition or not?
His attitude seems to believe that he only believed in changing parts of the car, not in checking it thoroughly.
I am forced to write this mail to you, I have been going through a lot of financial and physical problems for the last one month without my car.
My father lives with me who is *** years old and may have to be taken to the hospital anytime But there is always a fear in the mind that never get an accident due to not getting a car on time.
Sir, I have been away from my car for whole month due to no fault of mine and this such a major mistake of the service center which is not possible for me to pay this big amount.
I would appreciate it if you could solve this issue as I am sure you can resolve, I rely on my car for transport and apart from the inconvenience, this problem has also caused me to incur additional cost.
As I have mentioned above; I am a handicap person and I need my repaired car as soon as possible at this festive time.
