Subject: Mental harassment and causing economic loss by Shiv Shakti Motors, distributor of Mahindra & Mahindra Limited in reference of Mahindra Alfa Mini- E-rickshaw

Facts:
· The Customer- Sh. Maniram is a very poor person and recently he has been made the victim of mental harassment and economic loss on account of Shiv Shakti Motors, distributor of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.
· Sh. Maniram borrowed loan and bought Mahindra E-Alfa Mini (E-rickshaw) on **.**.****, Regn. No. UP**T ****, Chasis No. MA*LP*FC*J*B*****, Engine No. ********** from Distributor- Shiv Shakti Motors, Balrampur (Godown), Uttar Pradesh, PIN- ****** having * Amaron Batteries.
· While purchasing the said e-rickshaw, the distributor of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. assured the customer that there is a guarantee of * Batteries for a period of * Months from the date of purchase.
· When the batteries stopped working after * months (approx), matter was taken up with the Distributor and consulted with the Manager Mr. Deepak Bhatia, they changed only * batteries after ** days. After * & half Months from the date of Purchase, the rest two batteries which were not repaired/changed, created such problem that the e-rickshaw could not travel even * KM distance.
· Again the Customer surrendered the batteries to the Distributor on **.**.**** but Mr. Deepak Bhatia & other concerned persons of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. Co are telling that neither Mahindra Company nor Amaron Battery Company will replace/change the batteries.
· As on date the purchasing duration is only * Months ** days which are less than * Months the guarantee period out of which Distributor of Mahindra & Mahindra Co has already wasted **x*= ** days in two spells for addressing the grievance of the Customer.
· But still the Distributor is denying to solve the issue due to which the customer who is very poor and under the burden of loan, is going through mental trauma and depression.
Since, the Customer is not enough literate and is helpless, the undersigned is a public spirited person and has decided to take up the matter and render justice to the aggrieved Customer.
In view of above, the undersigned is raising the question, “ Is this the way Mahindra & Mahindra Co. Limited controls its distributed who cheats and causes mental agony to the poor and helpless Customer?”
Total claim amount is Rs. **,***/ (Rupees Sixty Thousand)
Matter has been taken up with the distributor but no positive response.
