- Regarding electricity bill Open
I am an NRI and out of the country since July **** with my spouse [ Prof. Keshaw Singh, ] and three children [Dr. Bhavana Singh, Dr Arti Singh and Dr Neelum Singh]. We visited India in June **** to purchase the Ground Floor of House No. ****B, Block G, Sector **, Gurgaon. We again left India in July **** after the registry of the ground floor of the said house. We only visit India once every year and stay less than two months in this house and pay electricity bills online. Recently, we were there from **th May **** to ** June **** but I received a bill of amount Rs. *****.**.
In my absence, no one is staying in this house and for that matter, there is no consumption of electricity. However, I regularly get bills of unexpected amounts and I have been paying those amount of bills issued against my name.
I, therefore, strongly believe that the bills generated by DHBVN are not according to my meter readings. There is something wrong with the billing system of DHBVN. A copy of the “History of Payments” attached herewith for your kind attention.
