BYJUS LEARNING PROGRAM - REFUSED TO CANCEL AND REFUND

My eldest daughter who is still studying in school recently received a phone call from BYJUS & the representative of BYJUS (so called Councillor) wanted to arrange a meeting at my residence on the pretext of helping my daughter in her academic studies through BYJUS LEARNING PROGRAM which is TABLET BASED. However, when the meeting was arranged, the Councillor lured us i.e. me & my wife into availing the BYJUS LEARNING PROGRAM for both our elder and younger daughter. The Councillor told us that to avail the **-DAY Trial Period of BYJUS LEARNING PROGRAM, we are to pay upfront DOWNPAYMENT of Rs.**,***/- for our elder daughter & Rs.*,***/- for our younger daughter, which we did pay via net-banking and the Councillor also made us sign the Admission Forms for both my daughters which I later realized was the ECS (Electronic Clearing System) MANDATE of INDIAINFOLINE (IIFL) on behalf of BYJUS for Auto-Debit from me & my wife's bank a/c respectively. The details are as follows :
*. For my eldest daughter :
The Total Cost of BYJUS LEARNING PROGRAM = **,***/-
DOWNPAYMENT PAID VIA NETBANKING = **,***/-
BALANCE AMOUNT = **,***/-
EMI per month for ** months to be auto-debited from my bank a/c via ECS = *,***.** EMI per month.

*. For my younger daughter :
The Total Cost of BYJUS LEARNING PROGRAM = **,***/-
DOWNPAYMENT PAID VIA NETBANKING = *,***/-
BALANCE AMOUNT = **,***/-
EMI per month for ** months to be auto-debited from my wife's bank a/c via ECS = *,***.**/- EMI per month.

HOWEVER, there is a Clause in the Admission Forms which states that there is a REFUND PERIOD of **-Days from the Date of Delivery of the Tablet.

For my eldest daughter , I received my Tablet on **-**-**** & the very next day I immediately requested through calls & email to CANCEL THE BYJUS LEARNING PROGRAM ALONGWITH CANCELLATION OF THE ECS MANDATE WITH IIFL & REFUND OF MY DOWN PAYMENT & I SHALL RETURN THE TABLET , WHILE I AM STILL UNDER THE REFUND PERIOD. HOWEVER, ALL MEANS OF COMMUNICATION WITH THEM WAS FUTILE SINCE THEY REFUSED TO CANCEL THE BYJUS LEARNING PROGRAM & TAKE BACK THE TABLET IN ORIGINAL CONDITION WHICH WAS NOT EVEN OPENED FROM THE PACKAGE. INSTEAD, THEY INSISTED THE CUSTOMER TO FORCIBLY USE THEIR PRODUCT WHICH IS A DECEITFUL TACTIC ON THEIR PART SO THAT THE **- TRIAL/REFUND PERIOD WOULD EXPIRE.

For my younger daughter, the Tablet arrived on **-*-**** which I refused to collect the Tablet & hence sent back the product to the company because earlier an employee of BYJUS had called & I told him that I want to CANCEL the BYJUS LEARNING PROGRAM & he said that he will initiate the CANCELLATION PROCESS BUT THERE WAS NO CONFIRMATION OF CANCELLATION FROM THEIR PART.

IN VIEW OF THE ABOVE, KINDLY HELP ME AS THE TIME FACTOR IS CRUCIAL SINCE AFTER EXPIRY OF THE **-DAY TRIAL PERIOD , I SHALL NOT BE ABLE TO CANCEL THE BYJUS LEARNING PROGRAM FOR BOTH MY DAUGHTERS.
