There's one issue with booking ID : ************* due to some reasons I had to cancel this flight with penalties. Airline has initiated a partial refund from their end and the same is processed to you. From the app i initiated a process to collect the refund and got **** INR in ecash & rest amount was paid via ecash , Still there's a due of **** INR. post checking with yatra customer care they said Giftcard used on this booking is non refundable. If giftcards are non refundable you can refund to bank / ecash but as per your CC words "amount is forfeited and won't be refunded or revalidated. If giftcards used were non refundable you should consider the same policy for all your customers. Yatra team is saying non refundable to me but refunding to those if the ticket Is cancelled with a full refund. Order ID : ************* cancelled with full refund and giftcards are revalidated.
It is a very simple norm. if giftcards are non refundable, It is non refundable in any case either cancelled by airline with full Refund or cancelled by customers with penalties.
