Sukhdev Sumra filed complaint against Indigo Airline on Dec 8, 2022
Dear Sir/Madam,
I booked a return flight Chandigarh-Delhi-Jabalpur on September **, **** with Indigo through Expedia (India) to start my journey on October **, ****. I paid Rs**,***.**.
On September **, **** Indigo cancelled my flights. I applied for a refund on their website. I received an email from Indigo that my refund has been processed.
I waited a few days and checked my account and there was no refund. I contacted Expedia (india) and they told me that my flight was booked under IndiGo AIR (TravelFusion), as shown in Exihibit # * below.
I did not know anything about TravelFusion but I contacted them and Indigo. TravelFusion replied that they are a content facilitator and are not directly involved with the payment as per Exihibit # *.
In next **-** emails and ** messages on Twitter, Indigo replied using generic words that had refunded the money to ‘your travel agency’ or ‘concerned travel agency’ for the further refund. …. As shown in Exihibit # * below.
They are still adamant that they have refunded. When I asked them to give me the name of the booking agency, date, transaction number along with the proof of it. They confirmed the agency name but have not shown any interest in sharing rest of the details requested.
The only reason for this discreetness, I believe is that they are still holding my money. I don’t think they had or have any intention to give me the refund and are have been giving me a run around.
I sent an email to the Nodal Officer at Indigo and on December *th I got the response that “refund of the amount of INR … is initiated”.
I have not received any refund yet.
I will sincerely appreciate your help.
