SURESH BABU POTHURU filed complaint against Hathway Broadband Internet,Bangalore on Sep 12, 2018
I have paid advance rentals for * months on **-Apr-**** and there was +* months offer.Which means, my rental paid was for * months i.e. until Dec-****. In the month of Aug-****, I have shifted to a new house and have reached out to Hathway team for address change on **-Aug. After * days, they have came back saying "Internet service cannot be provided in the new residential area, to which I have moved since they don't have technical.Device recovery needs to be initiated".I have used the internet last time on **-Aug and based on their response, I have asked them to proceed further for device collection and initiate the refund of advance rentals,since it is failure from their side and account closure from their side. For device recovery also, I have to run behind their team and escalate to appellate authority Bangalore-Mohan Kumar. I called me to understand the problem and he initiated the device recovery,post which refund will be processed. He sent his technician by name Murali to collect the device,which was successful and receipt was also issued.Post that there is no response from their team nor from the appellate authority-Mohan Kumar.Their renewal team is repeatedly calling me to renew the account,without knowing the facts. I request you to do the needful to get the refund.
