Travel Triangle - REFUND NOT GIVEN BY TRAVEL TRIANGLE

This grievance is regarding Holiday Triangle Travel Private Limited (AKA Travel Triangle), Address: Plot No - **, *rd & *th Floor, Dynamic House, Maruti Industrial Complex, Sector **, Gurugram -******, Haryana. Landline: **** *** ****. Email ID: customercare@traveltriangle.com.
We (M Ra***h Ka***h & Vi****a Ka***h) had booked a trip to Thailand (Booking ID: *******) which was scheduled from **st March **** to **th March **** (** Days/* Nights). The total cost of the Honeymoon package including flight tickets was around *.** lakhs which we had paid in advance. Unfortunately due to COVID-** Pandemic and Govt/travel restrictions and lock down all the flights to Thailand got canceled and we could not travel. The Thailand govt. had also stopped issuing travel VISA at the same time. When we contacted the travel agent regarding refund they told us that if we cancel the trip they cannot guarantee any refund so we must reschedule our trip to a future date and they will try to get the credit note from the Airlines/hotels/vendors which were again not guaranteed. So we agreed to reschedule our trip to October ****. Meanwhile I, myself tried to contact all the airlines and Thailand hotels and requested them for a refund/credit note as the travel agent staff were not bothered to contact them even after so many requests. As Thailand was not open for tourists even during October **** they again asked us to reschedule the trip and asked to wait till they get the refund/credit note from hotels/vendors for which we agreed. We requested them to allow us to change the travel location within India but they told us that it was not possible to change the location also. Its been around ** months now, still, they have not given us any assurance on refund/credit note. After my several requests over mail out of * hotels, * hotels have confirmed that they have not received any amount against the booking and asked us to claim a refund from the travel agent, and out of * airlines, * airlines have given a direct refund to the travel agent and the other has given a refund directly to my bank account. But the travel agent is not transferring us the refund received from the airlines and they are telling us that they have received a refund from only * airline and if we want a refund then they will deduct a charges of Rs.****/- from the refund amount and if we opt for credit note they will give us the full amount as a credit note. They have kept this refund amount with them for the past ** months. Also, they have not made any payments to the * hotels and simply giving false information that they have already made a payment so the hotel will not give a refund instead they will give a credit note which can be used to book for future dates. We are requesting them to give a full refund to us for all the amount received by them from the airline and the amount which we had paid for hotel bookings which they haven't paid to any hotels. If not at least give us a gift voucher for the full amount paid by us and allow us to change the travel location within India as Thailand is still not open for fully vaccinated Indian people. Also, we feel that it is still risky to travel there as the covid-** cases are increasing day by day. We hope that this issue will be resolved soon and we will get a refund for *.** lakhs Rupees which is with the travel agent for the past ** months.
