I had ordered a * grams ** karat gold coin from Tanishq online website on September *rd. Due to website glitch my money got debited but my order was not placed. On raising this issue with their customer care, they confirmed that the money has not reached their side and that the amount will be refunded in next *-* days. So they suggested me to reorder as I wanted it on priority for gifting purpose.
I reordered the same item on Sept *th and the same issue happened, my money got debited and order was not placed. On raising this issue with Titan's customer care, they informed that there is a website glitch and advised me not to order online but to buy from the nearest store. They also confirmed that the amount will be refunded in another * days as it hasn't reached their side. So I bought the similar item from Mumbai Tanishq store even before receiving my refund.
I was constantly in touch with Titan's customer care service through calls, chats and emails. They kept on reiterating that the money has not reached them and that it will be automatically bounced back. The amount got bounced back from Google pay for the order placed on *rd, but I did not receive refund for the order placed on *th. On *th of Sept, on my Tanishq's account the order which I placed on Sept *th got reflected and on the same day the order was shown as cancelled in the site.
Even though I constantly called them every alternate days they asked me to wait for **- ** hours. On **rd Sept, they replied to my mail stating that they had initiated refund on *th of Sept which was never mentioned to me whenever I called them before. They directed me to raise a complaint to my bank regarding the same and I did raise a complaint to my bank.
On **th Sept they called me and told that since I have raised a complaint to my bank they are unable to process my refund and asked me to withdraw the complaint which was denied by my bank.
Now its been way more than a month and I have not received my refund. They asked me to raise complaint to my bank and now they are asking me to withdraw and show acknowledgement for the same. This whole process has caused me a lot of trouble and an amount of *****/- is stuck. I have just started working and this is a big amount for me. I need to get this issue resolved as soon as possible and I need to get an interest amount for the order which is not refunded for the past ** days.
