I've been facing multiple issues with broadband multiple times over * months. Moved to Airtel Xtreem Fiber and asked ACT to disconnect my connection twice from ** to ** Feb ****. The representative has confirmed that service will be discontinued on **-Feb-****.
I use bank autopay to pay my bills and set it up to pay ACT every month. ACT did not discontinue the connection and raised an invoice in March which the bank processed. I was not expecting this as they said it'd be disconnected on **-Feb-**** so there wouldn't be any invoice in March. My bank processed the invoice and paid the bill to ACT. I wanted a refund.
I wrote to the nodal officer and again had to deal with calls from two representatives trying to convince me to continue using ACT and to "restart" the router. After a long struggle, they processed the disconnection, but no talk of my refund. I wrote to them again and they don't reply as usual.
*. Disconnection should be this hard and agonize the consumer.
*. Not replying to emails and ill-treating the consumer after you have the money is wrong.

My two years of blood & sweat got valued finally with Voxya. I got a full refund with no hustle after they received notice.
