I am writing to bring to your attention a persisting issue regarding the refund of an additional charge for infant travel that I paid during my recent booking with MakeMyTrip.

I booked a travel itinerary with MakeMyTrip under the reference number #**************, Booking Id NL*************

During the booking process, I was required to pay an additional amount of Rs ****/- for adding an infant to my reservation. Accordingly, I made the payment as requested.

To my surprise, upon reaching the airport, I was asked to pay the same amount again for the infant. Understanding the situation, I complied with the airport staff's request and paid the said amount once more directly to the airlines.

Upon contacting MakeMyTrip regarding this double charge, I was assured that the amount I paid to them for the infant would be refunded promptly. However, despite several follow-ups and assurances from MakeMyTrip, it has been nearly a month, and the refund has not been processed to my bank account.

I have diligently followed up with both MakeMyTrip and my bank multiple times. Regrettably, the bank has confirmed that no such refund transaction has been credited to my account, suggesting a potential issue with the payment gateway.

Despite my efforts to resolve this matter, I have not received any concrete action from MakeMyTrip. Instead, I have been repeatedly told that the refund would be processed within *-* business days, which has not materialized.

I must express my disappointment and frustration with the handling of this situation. As a customer, I did not expect to encounter such delays and lack of resolution, especially from a reputable firm like MakeMyTrip.

I kindly urge you to take immediate and serious action to expedite the refund process and ensure that the amount in question is credited back to my bank account at the earliest. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and expect a swift resolution.
