I ordered a sofa from pepperfy on **/**/** order no. ********* for Rs. ***** which was supposed to be delivered by **th June. The product reached my home on the *nd of July in a damaged state. The product was part of the pepperfry easy returns policy. I initiated a return process for the sofa. Pepperfy does not offer a replacement for cancelled products. However, when I called customer care after * days of initiating the refund customer service executive Sana Ansari told me that I will be sent a replacement product once the original product is picked up. The replacement product would take another ** days to be delivered. When I told her I do not want the replacement product she told me that there is no option but to the get the amount transferred to the pepperfry wallet.
Since I did not want to go through the initial harassment that I had during the delivery of the damaged product, I told her to transfer the amount to the wallet. When I went through their policy, it nowhere says that for a damaged product, a replacement product will be sent to the customer. It clearly states that the amount will be transferred to the original source. The customer executive lied to me and when I contacted the customer care again, they told me that transferring the amount back to original source is not possible since the brand warranty supersedes the easy return policy. There is no brand warranty available on the website and the product description clearly mentions that easy returns policy is applicable to the product. https://www.pepperfry.com/regal-three-seater-sofa-in-grey-black-colour-by-febonic-*******.html.
Please help me get my money back from the frauds who have been cheating innocent customers for a long time now.
