On ** May ****, I placed an order on pepperfry.com website (one of the largest online stores for furniture shopping, supposedly) for * different products that include one study table with a chair, * sofa sets with one table, * chairs etc. which costs me ~**K in a lump sum. The order was supposed to be delivered by **rd May **** however, got delayed. Furthermore, when we complain against it to customer service no action was taken by their executives. Moreover, when we called them they put our call on hold for a long time and then came up with their false commitment to delivery. I must say that I’ve experienced the worst CCS with Pepperfry. The most irritating part is that they don’t let you cancel the order as it's against their policy that no product can be cancelled, even if they delay the delivery of the product you can’t cancel the order which is highly unfair to customers.
Surprisingly, they have no policy for grievance they are causing to the customers by delaying the delivery of products neither they update you proactively in case of delays in delivery.
Dealing with such nonsenses the products got delivered on **th May ****. However, one of the products is still pending and we still don’t have any update on that.
In addition to the above trouble. The quality of the product is disgusting and not even worth half of the amount I paid. Pepperfry studios have deceiving articles they show you the best products in studios to convince the customer to order online but don’t bother about the quality eventually when you finally receive the product it shocks you with the low-quality fabric they use which is not even *% of what you see in Pepperfry studios. Apparently, their so-called policy says that they don’t have any policy for the quality of the product and you are forced to keep the product even if you aren’t happy with the products.
And it doesn’t end here cherry on the cake:
*. One of the chairs armrest colours is faded this is after they do a so-called quality check of products.
*. I ordered a brown sofa and the one I received was dark grey in colour again after the so-called quality check.
After the annoying customer service experience, I don’t even feel like calling them again to raise the above issues hence writing here.
This is the worst online shopping experience I have ever had with any shopping website. Will never ever recommend Pepperfry to friends and family as they have the worst quality products which not at all justify the price you pay. I regret considering Pepperfry.com to buy furniture.
People shouldn’t consider Pepperfry for any online furniture shopping. Their prices are way too high than the actual quality of the products and there return policy sucks because they don’t have any policy around the quality of products.
I am not at all happy with the quality of products and want to return them if required I can pay the shipping charges but not ready to accept low-quality products and spoil the ambience of my new house.
I expect Pepperfry.com to get back to me on this with the resolution asap. I am tired of listening lame answers like we don’t have a policy around delaying the delivery and no policy around the quality of products.
I am very pleased with Voxya. They helped me resolve my issue without much hassle. Very impressed and satisfied.
