- NOT issuing NOC for transfer of ownership of diseased husband s vehicle even after 60 days of repaym Closed
My late husband took loan ( loan no. TMKU*T*********) on his commercial passenger vehicle ( KA**D****) from STFC Tumkur in July ****. My husband demised during April **** due to covid **. Being my husband's legal hair I approached STFC office Tumkur and collected information regarding my husband's vehicle loan and I cleared his all loan dues by claiming insurance from STFC and by paying balance dues from my own money.
After clearing loan I approached STFC office again for taking form ** (NOC) for transfer of ownership and to get release of other security materials, but at this stage that senior branch manager denied to issue NOC and started telling new thing that my late husband was guarantor for some other person's vehicle loan and that loan is in over due so NOC for our vehicle cannot be issued until that loan account gets cleared. By this time it's already more than * months since my husband demised and they not disclosed this thing before I paid amount for my husband's loan. I requested that branch manager several times to issue NOC for our vehicle and to follow recovery procedure for the loan account for which my late husband was guarantor as we are unaware of that person and also that vehicle. That STFC tumkur office staff are totally irresponsible, arrogant, they are totally not bothered about their customer problems, they have not issued me NOC even after * months after repayment of all the loan dues. also they have not initiated any action to recover the due amount from the person for whom my late husband was guarantor, they keep on telling they will be seizing that vehicle for which my late husband was guarantor and issue NOC after that for our vehicle but no action initiated even after several reminder from our side, in this regard I have approached STFC online customer complaint portal and registered a complaint but not received any reply or resolution also complained STFC customer helpline (complaint no STFC*********) not resolved till today.
Because of this inconvenience caused by irresponsible STFC staff, I am unable to transfer my husband's vehicle ownership and use it OR sell it to some one ( it is already more than * months since my husband demised) and causing lot of financial loss, mental harrasment and truma to me and my family.
