I had purchased the the Insurance Policy from Edelweiss Tokio in May 2016....at the time of purchasing the Policy the Executive explained only the benefits of the policy and never ever explained on the cancellation part, and today when I want to cancel the policy due to job loss I am unable to continue......I contacted the company to request for the cancellation and they are telling I'll be getting only 30% of the amount I had invested...I questioned on this and they in turn telling that this is the rules of this policies....when I said them that your employee did not explained me about this.....I fact I questioned the employee at the time of purchasing the policy that it has returned 30% as cancellation.....the Executive said this are the standard rules every insurance company follows and said me to ignore on this.....I believed on this and continued my policy....and know when my time is bad and need of money this people are telling like this.....it will be big loos for me at this part of time....would request you people to please look into this matter and do the needful....I want to file a case against the company for the misleading information their Executive has given to me at the time of purchasing the policy, and would want the company to compensate me for the 2 years period my amount invested with them
