Uber Cab Service - money deducted but no acknowledgement

Dear Concern,

This is in regards to the captioned matter.
Please note that i am the continuing customer of Uber since the day it started in India and have used the services outside India also which reflects the loyalty of Customer. But due to some personal issues I was unable to use the service for almost a year in between.

It is pertinent to note that on **st May, ****, I have taken by last trip on uber on which the payment mode was selected as credit card which costs me Rs. ***/-and after that i have tried making payment of the same several time via paytm wallet but it was unacceptable on the app. Therefore, the same was finally paid by using the another credit card of HDFC ending no. **** owned by me in the first week of june, ****

But, i was surprise to see that the payment has been deducted and transferred in uber account but they operator as well as the executive have not acknowledged the same till date.

Very important to note that I have raised the complaint on the app attaching the credit card statement reflecting the deduction but no response has been done for almost two weeks.

I again raised the complaint for the same after two weeks i.e. third week of June, **** for which only a formal reply has been received for requesting the time of ** hours to resolve the matter. Being relied on uber, i again waited for almost two weeks but no response received. I again made the same complaint and again received the request of ** hours time for the response. but did not received any thing.

I was very disappointed with the practice followed by uber but after that also in have raised several complaints every week regarding the same matter bu tno response till date.

Keeping faith on Uber, I have waited till date for some resolution but now it appears that you have no intention to repay or consider the acceptance of payment in order to cheat and defraud me.

Pursuant to the above, treat this as a legal notice of demand of money paid by me. I hereby demand you to refund the money or send the acknowledgment of receipt of payment within ** hours, failing of which I am authorize to take legal action against you and reserve my rights for the same.

This is without prejudice to all other legal rights and remedies available to my client for the above-stated purpose.
