- Incorrect unfair trip charges and subsequent mental harassment by Ola Open
On **th April ****, I booked a ride via Ola from my Office till my home. The distance for the same is around * kms and a duration of **-** mins during peak hours. The driver dropped me at my home location but did not end the trip and actually ended the trip after ** mins at NH**.
Despite raising this issue with Ola several times, they have refused to budge and keep saying that I changed the drop location by myself. A trip of Rs *** is being incorrectly billed as Rs ***
Since I have refused to pay the incorrect and unfair amount, now I am being mentally harassed by Ola officials and I am getting threat calls and messages everyday regarding reducing my CIBIL, sending someone to my house, freezing my bank accounts and sending me a legal notice. On top of this, Ola is adding late fee penalty without resolving the issue and now my outstanding incorrect amount is INR ****. It’s being increased everyday without actually resolving the issue. I have raised the issue on email, calls and twitter and OLA, despite seeing all my complaints and reverts, has refused to respond and take any action regarding the same. On my Ola app there are two different drop locations showing still: *) Actual drop location and *) Incorrect location I.e. NH **
This mental harassment is causing me and my family members issues as I am being threatened every single day with multiple calls and messages. Ola has still not given a proper resolution and kept responding that I purposely changed my drop location and accepted the higher fare whereas I never received anything regarding this in my Ola app
I would also like to add that this is a serious issue, Ola does not even have the means to identify where a passenger was dropped and it is definitely a safety issue. There have been multiple instances in the past where the drivers demanded cash and have thrown me out of the cab in the middle of nowhere. This constant bad experience and harassment and now on top of it incorrect and unfair billing practices have put a lot of mental pressure on me.
