Make My Trip India Pvt Ltd - INAPPROPRIATE REFUND GIVEN BY MAKE MY TRIP

Dear sir,

I had done a round trip Air india Flight booking( Through Make My Trip) from New Delhi to Tel Aviv , israel and Tel Aviv to New Delhi with Booking ID- NN************* for my wife and daughter to visit me in israel

I Received a mail and SMS that the Airline has cancelled the outbound flight from New Delhi to Tel Aviv and the return flight from Tel aviv to New Delhi is impacted.

I wanted to cancel this booking as a result of this and wanted to claim full refund for the same, since airline has cancelled the flight and my family cannot proceed further on any alternate dates due to my professional commitments.

Apropos, when I was trying to cancel this trip from make my trip app, I was not getting option of flight cancelled by airline which is always available in such cases. Due to this, I was unable to file special claim for refund on this booking due to flight cancelled by AIRLINE.

Therefore, I had to cancel this booking from the normal option of cancellation which has resulted in a loss of Rs Rs *****, which would have been the same if I had cancelled the complete booking without any cancellation of Flight by Airline.

Moreover, MMT also charged the cancellation fee which should not have been charged in such cases when the flight is cancelled by Airline.
As I write this complaint, our return flight of **th april( AI ***) also stands cancelled by Airline.

Furthermore, I tried to address this issue to Make my trip via email, Twitter, online support, calls , everything but the company has not provided any resolution.

To be honest, I have been looted of my hard earned money in this booking and request you to assist me in providing the appropriate refund as deemed to be given when a flight is cancelled by Airline, and seek justice for the same.
