- Hp service center did more bad than good in fixing my laptop ^Closed

Hello to the person reading this. My laptop had * issues one was my battery was old and it won't carry longer when powers out and

Second : my panel there was a screw that would go loose quite often..

So for this I went to Prabhaath solutions Jayanagar Bangalore ****** India

They told me they will get a new battery and said they will have to replace the panel

And panel will cost me ₹*, ***
I agreed and sometime later they told me panel won't come without keyboard and they will have to charge me for keyboard too..

And added ₹**** to the bill costing me *,*** for panel
And *,*** for battery and *** for cleaning services which makes it a total of ₹**,***

and they charged me *,*** for battery
*,*** for top panel
He told me it won't be a led keyboard but he will get leds working for it somehow just for me.. He also said he will get a new touch pad too with the panel. And now you might be thinking what a great guy.. Just read the rest.. I am so depressed

the main repair guy told me to come by evening and collect it..
For the one thing that guy was so persistent in keeping my hard disk with him.. Which I didn't allow so he would act sympathetic way as he will just take it and I don't trust it..

Okay so they gave me the laptop in evening
And I went home tested it and keyboard keys are stuck.. They don't
Bounce back..
Touchpad is bad it doesn't click properly and I can't drag the cursor while clicking to select a word or a line..
Touchpad is shit like double scrolls won't work. And left click works sometime and doesn't the other time..
Panel is fine.. And battery seems to be working fine..

Then I told them the issue so they told me to come on Monday.. .
Now I am in final year and I have internship and final exams on hand. And that guy tells me it's cz I made him to hurry he couldn't do it properly..
Now I said doesn't matter get it fixed.. He told me to give him a day.. .
And I did give him a day and again he asked me for hard disk which I didn't give. For that he said he will have to arrange a new hard disk and it will take another * hours.. I said okay cz I didn't want to give him the hard disk..
And after one day I come to collect my laptop and this time half of the keys of my laptop are not working and my touch pad won't work. And this guy act like what can I do.. My final year is on stake if you can't do it tell me on face.. But here this guy helped me out by giving me an external keyboard to finish up my college work and told me to come back after * days by then he will arrange a new keyboard.. I already have an external mouse.

Now I go home and started working peacefully. . I was happy that my work is not gonna get interrupted..
And I found out battery is not charging. It just show me the symbol
Of charging and it was just running on power and all the battery that I thought there was the initial charge that battery had..

I call this guy again he says manage for * days and when keyboard is here I will fix both..
And now I stay in a place where light goes too often and that gets my hard disk and motherboard at risk if powers goes. ..

I can't agree to this so I said no man I want it fixed tomorrow.. As I had exams * days after as well I have a deadline on the * th day that was Sunday for my internship report to be submitted..
Now again I went to him and he said okay I will fix it.. This time he magically appear to have arranged a hard disk.. He says he has a hard disk and he will try to fix it
Now I wait cz I don't have anything to do.. I can't roam as it's corona time
I waited and this guys tell me that new battery is not working and they have ordered a new battery and I have to wait till it arrives and they will try the new one. It took * hours for new battery to come. And then they did something for another hour and he said new battery also not working and he don't know the issue and told me to get the old battery. Which was working. Now see it's corona time and I live in Bangalore with most peak cases of corona are there. And I am risking my life every day coming to this place.. Still I went and got him this battery.. And he told to wait and asked me to give my hard disk again said he will fix it and give if back at once.. I have my battery cz I was so damm suck tired of this game.. And this guys is like we are a genuine hp center and they won't open the hard disk.. They just need it to check the keyboard and mouse.. And as per my understanding keyboard and mouse can be checked by f* test provided by hp which doesn't require hard disk

still I gave him permission to keep the hard disk
and took another * hours before this guy gave my laptop and now suddenly this guy have a keyboard too.. And everything looks fine.
Keyboard looks poor in conditions leds that my keyboard has doesn't seen to glow much as it was before, as in it is new but it doesn't match the panel. .working but keys doesn't look align but still in workable and my touchpad seems old like they just attached mg old touchpad itself. I asked him about my touchpad he said that he had to fix the old one so that it works.. And he acted like he have done too much work..

I have no options but to get it as my exams are closing in.. Because every time I state an issue they will be like it will take them another day to sort out..So I just left with my laptop and returned the external keyboard.. Disappointed I felt cheated. But anyway I have to deal with it as my online exams were there and no options other than my own laptop. As college, libraries, cyber cafes all closed due to corona.

Now the panel came out in just * -* like there is a creek line I can see in my panel. Looks like it didn't fit properly.. It came out near the CD driver of my laptop and just curious I checked if my CD driver works cz I never checked it after repair.. . And it doesn't work shit.. It won't play CD DVD nothing.. J am so depressed I wasted so much money.. And time and risked my life in this covid situation just for this.. .
My panel was fine before * nuts were loose but it was working.. My keyboard was a A class with good led which was spoiled now the jugaad( leds doesn't even show up properly)

Now battery seems to be working fine but idk I don't trust this guy anymore like god know which battery he would have put in.


I feel cheated.. They should have said the first day that they are incapable of solving a battery and fixing panel issue I would have gone to some other center.. Maybe my life would be better.. .

My laptop is in worst condition now.. . . CD driver doesn't work, keyboard is shit, they gave me my own touch pad and didn't refund me and panel I can see coming out with a creek.. And I am not sure about the battery..

Point is this guy acted as if he has solved a lot. . But keyboard and panel is such a generic thing to be solved and I believe a big company like hp will have designed good spare parts for this.. . I thought it was just like paying for the parts and relying on someone else to fix them..

The time I wasted I could have bought the parts myself and learnt how to fix and fix them myself.

So disappointed with the service..
I want my refund
It doesn't go like this.. You are supposed to understand the customer.
